Fortunately for my family, we wer...Thanks, Allison. Fortunately for my family, we weren't in the flooding; however, I've spent the past 2 days helping out victims as much as I could. It's tough. One home owner broke down in tears when our group showed up to help.<br /><br />Our town had a bad fire a few weeks ago that destroyed all the vegetation on the mountain. Then the other night, we got 2 inches of rain in 20 minutes. About a minute and a half after the rain ended, a wall of water, mud, rocks, trees, and ash cam crashing down into these homes.
