What is Your Book About?

I love the response from people after I’ve answered the question posed in this blog title. They stare at me for a moment, squint their eyes, and then nod with a courteous, “oh, that’s nice.” I know what they are thinking: how could that guy write a book about faeries? Why would that guy right a book about faeries?
The reason I love their response: I feel the same way.
Back in 2008, when I started writing again, I never had any intention of penning the words that I’m about to release to the world; however, this story found me—in a big way. I believe that writers, artists, should always listen to what their muse is telling them. I listened and am glad that I did. Yes, my story is about faeries.

In a matter of days, I’ll be releasing ON FALLEN WINGS to the world. While I don’t have the cover art yet, here’s the blurb from the back—my answer to the question of this post’s title.

Faeries are supposed to be perfect.

I was. My life was.

Then Sean disappeared.

I tried to be strong. I asked for help. There’s only so much trying and asking will do. So, I took action.

That’s when everything fell apart.

  1. The blurb makes it sound really intriguing - and I'm a very strong believer in writing what you feel, not what you think you should :-)

  2. Your blurb does the perfect job of making me want to flip to the page one and start finding out what the heck happened and for goodness sake, will it be okay?
